Zambia - July 2010

Leslie and I have not updated the site very well this year and we apologize for that. We have been moving back and forth across Zambia since the end of March. At last, we have stopped for a spell to rest so we want to say HELLO!!!! Our son, C3, at the moment is putting together a summer newsletter for WFTO and should be e mailed to our contacts sometime next week. In the newsletter you will find an update of the work so far this year. Also, in the web site picture gallery you will find 2010 pictures which C3 has recently uploaded. Please view them to see what the field work looks like.

Leslie and I are doing well. Our travels have exhausted us but for the last 2 weeks we have managed to rest and now have a little bit of strength to try it all over again. The remainder of 2010 seems to be laid out before us. First, we have another phase of work to complete for World Vision and then we possibly have 4 wells to drill on our way back from the World Vision project. If all goes well we will be back, in Kafue (our home), with all of the equipment by the end of October. In addition to the drilling, we plan numerous hand pump repairs along with Health/Hygiene teaching and Evangelism at all of our work sites.

The weather here is great at the moment. The daytime high temperature is in the 70's with night time low's in the 40's and it has not rained since April. However, the winter season will end in August and then the heat will be on until the rains start to cool us sometime in late October or early November.

We want to say thank you for your support of the work in Zambia. Leslie and I are privileged to be servants of the Most High and He has orchestrated the plan that is in motion as we speak. We look forward to the ministry ahead of us and rest assured that you are a strategic part of what is done on the ground in Zambia. God bless and we will update soon.

In Christ,
CW & Leslie Bing
